Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Business Analyst III for SAP Finance and Controlling solutions in Bangalore. The role involves serving as a functional subject matter expert to bridge business needs with technology solutions, leading projects across the solution lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-go-live support.
Responsibilities
Serve as functional subject matter expert for SAP Finance and Controlling processes and modules
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and translate needs into SAP solutions
Design, configure, and lead functional activities for projects and system enhancements throughout lifecycle
Support complex production issues through root-cause analysis and cross-functional resolution
Develop functional specifications, documentation, and coordinate testing and deployment activities
Requirements
Advanced degree plus 3 years relevant IT/Finance experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years
5-8 years of SAP FICO functional experience in implementation, rollout, and enhancement
Strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Asset Accounting
Experience with SAP module integration including SD, MM, and PP
Expertise in functional design, configuration, and SAP best practices
Proficiency in requirements analysis, solution design, and cross-functional project management
Knowledge of S/4HANA initiatives and system upgrade processes
