We are looking for a responsible and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate institutional vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely transportation of staff, students, materials, and other assigned personnel as required.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate heavy vehicles safely in accordance with traffic rules and regulations.
Transport staff, students, materials, and other authorized personnel as assigned.
Ensure timely pickup and drop-off as per the assigned schedule.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and check brakes, tyres, lights, fuel, and other essential components.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep.
Report mechanical issues, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements promptly.
Maintain trip sheets, logbooks, fuel records, and other vehicle-related documents.
Ensure all vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and fitness certificates are valid.
Follow institutional safety policies and maintain professional conduct.
Coordinate with the transport department for daily schedules and vehicle assignments.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ELIGIBILITY
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence is mandatory.
2–5 years of relevant heavy vehicle driving experience preferred.
Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts when required.
