Billing Specialist in New Delhi, भारत

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and issue invoices for IT services, cybersecurity solutions, and Microsoft subscriptions. Monitor outstanding payments, follow up on collections, reconcile accounts, and investigate billing discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, maintain expense records, resolve vendor discrepancies, and prepare payment schedules.
• Subscription Billing: Manage recurring billing for Microsoft licensing and other services. Apply pricing, discounts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) accurately, and manage renewals and expiration notifications.
• Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepare aging reports, billing summaries, and account reconciliations. Collaborate with the finance team to support accurate bookkeeping and compliance with accounting standards.
• Client Communication: Respond to billing inquiries, resolve disputes, and provide professional support to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable/accounts payable, or a related finance role; IT or subscription-based industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and billing systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar tools.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data and reconciling accounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required to communicate with international clients and teams.
