With over 100 hotels in 70 destinations across six distinct brands, ITC’s hotel group integrates India’s renowned tradition of hospitality and warmth, with globally benchmarked facilities & services. With its awe-inspiring size and grandeur, ITC Grand Chola is a veritable destination unto itself. Located in the heart of Chennai the hotel is a palatial tribute to Southern India’s greatest empires – the Imperial Cholas. There are four separate entry points, each with its distinct artistic identity. The hotel welcomes guests in 522 rooms and 78 serviced apartments, each of which is a triumph of design aesthetics. The ten food and beverage outlets bring regional, national and global cuisines to the cognoscenti. It offers one of the largest conference, banqueting and exhibition spaces in the country. The unique carved and textured exterior resembles the great temples of the Chola period – The Brihadeshwarar and many others in the Thanjavur district. Sangam, the grand lobby, follows a temple cloister design. The pristine expanse of the pastel-hued lobby is interspersed with Dravidian pillars positioned symmetrically. Traditional stone carvers and sculptors from Tamil Nadu have contributed to the inimitable interiors of the hotel in the form of visual motifs influenced by Chola themes. With 10 signature dining destinations the hotel offers the finest regional, national and global cuisine to delight the gourmet aficionados. The culinary experiences are staged with sustainability at heart by promoting local and seasonal ingredients, further accentuating the flavours. Inviting and expansive, Kaya Kalp – The Royal Spa promotes health, relaxation and inner peace through a wide selection of Ayurvedic, international and indigenous therapies. Promoting holistic wellbeing & fitness the hotel offers healthy cuisine offerings, personalized fitness regimes, a conducive sleep environment and exclusive amenities & facilities.
