Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a B2B EDI Systems Support Specialist to provide internal operational support for electronic data interchange and order-to-cash transactions across APMEA. The role monitors transaction health, performs root-cause analysis, and coordinates resolution with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Monitor and triage B2B error queues, transaction failures and interface exceptions across APMEA
Investigate E1 sales-order processing issues including order status, holds, confirmations and invoice generation
Analyse end-to-end transaction flows across E1, OpenText, PacCom and related platforms for root causes
Coordinate incident resolution with Global B2B Support, ERP Support, IT and regional operations teams
Support B2B implementations, migrations and post-implementation hypercare activities with validation and testing
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
3+ years hands-on EDI/B2B integration or ERP order-processing support experience
Demonstrated troubleshooting experience with E1 or comparable ERP order-to-cash environment
Familiarity with B2B integration platforms such as OpenText, PacCom, or Ariba Network
Strong understanding of EDI transaction concepts, message flows, and common integration failure patterns
Ability to analyse transaction payloads, logs, and system data to isolate root causes
Structured problem-solving approach and strong cross-functional communication skills
