About the Role

• QA Engineer (2-5 Years Experience)

  Location: Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Mumbai / Gurugram
  Experience: 2-5 Years

  Job Description

  We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing (SQL) , along with exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications.
  • Perform Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing to ensure product quality.
  • Validate APIs using testing tools and perform backend validation through SQL queries.
  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright .
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners in an Agile environment.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release activities.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and test management.

  Required Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing.
  • Strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and SQL .
  • Hands-on experience in Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing .
  • Good knowledge of Selenium Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright .
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies .
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  Preferred

  • Exposure to automation framework development.
  • Experience working in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and modern QA practices.
