Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Automation Engineer II in Pune to design, develop, and commission PLC/DCS/SCADA automation solutions for bioprocess systems. This on-site role combines UNICORN control software with Rockwell hardware while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure automation solutions for chromatography, filtration, and bioprocess systems per customer requirements and international standards
• Develop PLC/SCADA code, perform testing, debugging, and optimization of automation software
• Prepare technical documentation including P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring drawings, IO lists, and control panel specifications
• Commission systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide user training at customer sites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including suppliers, customers, and project managers on elegant automation solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, E&TC, or Computer Science
• Minimum 6+ years post-qualification experience in automation engineering
• Hands-on expertise with Rockwell PLC, Siemens platforms, and UNICORN software
• Knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, ISA/IEC standards, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing
• Experience commissioning filtration, separation, and purification equipment in biotech
• Factory test and/or site commissioning work experience
