About the job

1. Shoot video content for YouTube and Instagram, including setting up camera, lighting and audio for both long-form and short-form formats.
2. Edit raw footage into polished YouTube videos and Instagram Reels, adding cuts, transitions, text, music, sound effects and basic colour correction.
3. Plan shoots with the team: understand the brief, suggest shot ideas, and capture extra footage (B-roll, behind-the-scenes, vertical cuts) so one shoot can serve both platforms.
4. Adapt each video to its platform, with horizontal edits, thumbnails-friendly moments and pacing for YouTube, and vertical, hook-first edits for Reels.
5. Deliver on schedule, organise and back up all footage and project files, and revise edits based on feedback and performance.

Other requirements

1. Hands-on experience with both shooting and editing; a portfolio or showreel with YouTube and Instagram samples is a must.

2. Comfortable with editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut (After Effects is a plus).

3. Knows how to operate a DSLR/mirrorless camera or smartphone rig, plus basic lighting and mic setup.

4. Understands current Instagram and YouTube trends, hooks and short-form storytelling.

5. Can work independently, take feedback well and handle quick turnarounds.
