About the job

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and proactive NOC Engineer to help keep our infrastructure running smoothly. You will be the first line of response for outages, network incidents, and hardware issues, and will support our customers when the dedicated support team is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor the uptime and health of servers, network devices, and services across all our locations
2. Detect, report, and escalate outages promptly, and track them until resolution
3. Coordinate with upstream ISPs during DDoS attacks and network-level incidents
4. Coordinate with datacenter teams and hardware vendors for hardware failures and replacements
5. Handle client support tickets, chats, and calls when the dedicated support team is not available
6. Maintain clear incident logs and hand-over notes for the team
7. Follow escalation procedures and communicate status updates to management and affected clients

Skills Required

1. Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing; BGP knowledge is a plus)

2. Familiarity with Linux servers and command line

3. Understanding of DDoS attacks and basic mitigation concepts

4. Good written and spoken communication in English and Hindi

5. Calm, responsible approach under pressure

6. Experience with monitoring tools, Proxmox, MikroTik, or WHMCS is a plus

Salary

Probation:

Duration: 6 months

Salary during probation: ₹10,000 - 10,001 /month (only for freshers)

After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,60,000 - 10,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed pay: ₹ 1,80,000 - 5,00,000 /year

2. Variable pay: ₹ 1,80,000 - 5,00,000 /year
