Pfizer seeks an Associate Manager for Manufacturing Quality Assurance at its Vizag facility. The role oversees cGMP compliance in terminal sterilization, visual inspection, and packaging operations, ensuring regulatory adherence and product quality standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure cGMP compliance in terminal sterilization, visual inspection, and packaging operations
Review batch reports, equipment audit trails, and electronic batch records with impact assessment
Conduct acceptable quality level sampling and inspection with documented results
Perform daily walkthroughs, random process checks, and batch start-up activities
Identify operational gaps and lead process simplification initiatives to reduce downtime
Requirements
B. Pharm, M. Pharm, or MSc degree
6-8 years pharmaceutical manufacturing QA or production experience
Knowledge of terminal sterilization, visual inspection, and packaging processes
Capability to handle regulatory inspections (USFDA, MHRA, TGA)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across organizational levels
Critical thinking mindset with proactive problem-solving approach
