Role
Own day-to-day delivery across data engineering, analytics and ML/AI. Accountable for delivery predictability, capacity planning and the reporting that goes to stakeholders. Line manager for the engineering team.
Responsibilities
Delivery across all three streams — commitments, sequencing, and a clear view of where work stands
Backlog management and sprint planning; capacity tracking against available hours
Working knowledge of SQL, cloud data warehousing (BigQuery preferred) and pipeline development: enough to challenge an estimate and review a design
Track record presenting delivery performance to senior stakeholders
Preferred
Data Engineering & ML delivery exposure, from requirement through production and retraining
Jira Automation or advanced reporting configuration
Appetite to go deeper technically — the data and AI landscape here moves quickly
