Pfizer seeks an Associate Manager for Automation to manage moderately complex projects in manufacturing process engineering at their Vizag facility. The role involves configuring and maintaining Emerson DeltaV DCS systems, managing field instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS systems and integrated controls
Develop control modules, operator graphics, and batch logic for automation systems
Monitor and maintain field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and analytical instruments
Support system upgrades, migrations, FAT/SAT activities, and disaster recovery procedures
Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation failures; implement corrective and preventive actions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Automation and Instrumentation
Proficiency with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems configuration and troubleshooting
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus)
Familiarity with GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations
Strong planning, organizing, and team collaboration capabilities
