About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Read and abstract leases: Go through commercial lease agreements and pull out the terms that matter - parties, area, rent, escalations, lock-in, tenure, security deposit, renewal options and critical dates - into a structured format.
2. Publish to the platform: Upload leases and lease terms to the Repositree platform.
3. Keep building and unit data current: Update building and unit-level information - occupancy, vacancy, floor plates, ownership - as the market moves.
4. Investigate: When something doesn't add up - an unfamiliar occupier, a group company, a conflicting date - run secondary research to get to the right answer.
5. Own data quality: Run checks, catch errors and inconsistencies, and keep the lease database accurate and complete.
6. Improve how we work: Spot repetitive steps and help us fix them - better templates, smarter checks and AI-assisted extraction tools.

Other requirements

A graduate in any discipline – commerce, economics, law, real estate, management or engineering.

Sharp reading comprehension and comfort with long, dense documents.

Strong attention to detail – you notice when one number doesn’t match another.

Good working knowledge of Excel (filters, lookups, basic formulas).

Clear written and spoken English.

Curiosity and a willingness to pick up new tools and responsibilities.

Exposure to lease abstraction, legal documents or real estate (internships count).

Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude or other AI tools for document work.

Some knowledge of Gurugram/NCR office markets and the companies that occupy them.
