Pfizer seeks a facilities engineering associate to maintain plant infrastructure and building systems at its Vizag manufacturing facility. The role encompasses facility upkeep, civil projects, compliance documentation, and contractor coordination in a cGMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain plant infrastructure and building facilities per cGMP and quality standards with proper documentation
Execute civil and facility projects, coordinating schedules and monitoring progress to completion
Review facility layouts, engineering designs, and construction drawings for compliance and accuracy
Supervise contractors and construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery
Prepare cost calculations, billing verification, and maintain facility records and as-built drawings
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience, or Diploma with 5+ years
Knowledge of cGMP compliance and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical facilities
Understanding of cleanroom systems, environmental controls, and applicable guidelines
Experience with civil construction, project management, and engineering documentation
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and permit-to-work systems
Contractor and vendor management capability
Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
