Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Engineer to support the planning, analysis, design, and construction of geotechnical components across civil works (dams/hydropower, tunnels, conveyance/pipelines), water and wastewater, site development, and energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in geotechnical investigations including review of borelogs, laboratory & field test data, and site investigation reports.
Support the analysis and design of foundations, cut & fill retention structures, embankments and slopes, and ground improvement & dewatering systems.
Assist with geotechnical calculations, technical memoranda, and design reports.
Provide geotechnical design support for grading, drainage, pavements, and underground structures.
Coordinate with civil, structural, water, and environmental disciplines to integrate geotechnical solutions.
Support quality checks and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Black & Veatch procedures
