AstraZeneca seeks an Associate Director Study Data Manager to lead clinical data delivery for oncology trials in Bangalore. This role owns end-to-end data management accountability, vendor oversight, and regulatory compliance while ensuring inspection-ready datasets support pivotal trial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary study-level data authority, overseeing end-to-end clinical data management deliverables and quality outcomes
• Direct vendor performance and supervise Lead Data Manager or DM team to meet scope, timelines, and quality standards
• Drive operational excellence through proactive issue identification, mitigation, and adherence to data capture standards
• Lead study-level inspection preparation and ensure compliance with regulatory and Trial Master File requirements
• Mentor junior clinical data management colleagues to build capability and strengthen delivery across studies

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or nursing
• Solid clinical data management experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO industry
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Data Management Practices and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated project management and lead data manager experience with metrics analysis expertise
• Proficiency with clinical data repositories, data management systems, and electronic data capture platforms
• Proven ability to manage external vendor relationships and cross-functional teams effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
