Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks an Associate Director for Biostatistics and Programming to oversee clinical research projects, manage and mentor department staff, and provide statistical expertise. The role combines technical leadership with operational oversight across multiple study phases and therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and technical guidance on multiple clinical research projects at varying complexity levels
• Manage and mentor biostatistics and statistical programming staff; oversee hiring, training, and performance management
• Direct statistical analysis plan development, database specifications, and clinical study reporting activities
• Represent department in multi-disciplinary settings including client meetings and bid defense presentations
• Coordinate resource allocation across department and monitor project budgets and timelines

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SAS and specialized statistical software
• Knowledge of clinical trial design and multiple therapeutic areas
• Proven experience managing and mentoring biostatistics and programming staff
• Experience with financial and budget management
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with executive leadership
