Amgen seeks an Associate to support U.S. Medicaid rebate operations, managing invoice processing, claim validation, dispute documentation, and payment package preparation. The role requires collaboration across finance, compliance, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely Medicaid execution.
Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day Medicaid rebate operations including invoice processing, claim handling, and payment package support
Perform invoice validation checks for assigned states and support CLD formatting and control verification
Prepare dispute documentation, tracking updates, and evidence files for disputed units and rebate amounts
Maintain accurate trackers for invoice status, validation outcomes, and open items; flag risks to management
Support system testing, SOP updates, training materials, and identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy
2–5 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare operations, managed markets, or Medicaid rebate experience
Strong Excel, documentation, reporting, and analytical capabilities
Proficiency with Model N, SAP, and Microsoft 365 applications
Detail-oriented with ownership mindset and continuous improvement focus
Ability to work collaboratively across finance, compliance, and contracting teams
