OverviewYou'll help build and improve Gallagher Re’s financial modelling platform. It uses Java, JEE, Postgres, and Azure. You'll work with colleagues in Mumbai, Bangalore, Ipswich, and London, so clear communication matters. This role suits someone who likes solving real problems, working across teams, and building software that stays reliable as needs change.
You'll work across the full development cycle, from building new features to supporting live systems. You’ll write clean code, check it against the agreed design, and help keep the platform secure, stable, and fast.
You’ll also work with backend colleagues on APIs and data flow, join code reviews, and help solve production issues. When needed, you’ll support end users and look at better ways to build, test, deploy, and maintain the product.
