About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Support the lead teacher in executing lesson plans and managing the classroom
2. Help with classroom routines, organization, displays, and student materials.
3. Assist with co-curricular activities, events, and field trips.
4. Monitor student behaviour and ensure a safe, positive classroom environment and maintain documentation and student records as guided by the lead teacher
5. Substitute for the lead teacher when required, under guidance.
6. Provide individual or small group academic support to students when needed.
