Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for steel, materials, equipment, and related supplies.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and prepare purchase orders.
Coordinate with inventory, warehouse, finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Maintain accurate procurement records and support cost-control and process-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
4–7 years of experience in purchase, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in the steel, construction materials, manufacturing, or allied supply sector.
Strong understanding of vendor negotiations, purchase documentation, order tracking, and basic commercial evaluation.
Good communication, coordination, analytical, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities while meeting operational deadlines.
Working knowledge of MS Office or procurement-related systems will be beneficial.
This is a full-time, in-office opportunity based in Bangalore, offering an annual compensation range of ₹4,00,000 to ₹6,00,000.
