Assistant Manager- Warehouse & Distribution in Bombay, भारत

Assistant Manager for warehouse and distribution operations at Johnson & Johnson's Mumbai facility. Reports to regional leadership and manages third-party logistics providers to execute warehousing strategy, optimize costs, ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence across the India supply chain network.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and drive cost-efficient distribution operations across designated geography
• Oversee operational KPIs including dock-to-stock, on-time shipment, and pick accuracy; implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead transportation compliance activities and ensure implementation of global standards for temperature control and dangerous goods management
• Execute regional warehouse transitions on time and on budget while maintaining service levels and EHS standards
• Collaborate between sales and supply chain organizations to support growth and operational efficiency across J&J companies in region

Requirements

• 4-5 years industry experience in supply chain, warehousing, or transportation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Experience managing large-scale transformational projects
• Proven ability to work in complex, dynamic environments
• Demonstrated people management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication
• Green Belt Six Sigma or APICS certification preferred
