About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage & assess direct and indirect taxation and assessment work for clients.
2. Review Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, TDS Returns, and related documentation.
3. Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.
4. Provide tax planning and advisory to clients while ensuring compliance with current tax laws.
5. Finalize books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
6. Liaise with tax authorities, clients, and team members for smooth execution of assignments.
7. Keep updated with amendments in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
8. Prepare management reports, MIS, and financial analysis as needed.
9. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the team and ensure that deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.

1. CA qualified with 0 – 2 years of post-qualification experience in a CA firm.

2. Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, Accounting Standards, and the Companies Act.

3. Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software (knowledge of cloud-based tools like Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Busy is a plus).

4. Good communication and client-handling skills.

5. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
