Assistant Manager, Sales role focused on driving pharmaceutical sales for anesthetic products across Chennai territory. Responsible for building healthcare provider relationships, managing accounts, executing market development initiatives, and achieving revenue targets through direct engagement with hospitals and distributors.
Responsibilities
Build relationships with anesthetists and healthcare professionals to increase product adoption and market share
Develop monthly account-wise sales plans and weekly customer coverage plans to drive secondary and primary sales
Generate sales forecasts and implement quarterly market activation initiatives aligned with go-to-market strategy
Ensure sales force effectiveness metrics compliance and conduct product training for healthcare professionals
Manage distributor and channel partner relationships to drive territory revenue and profitability targets
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, biomedical engineering, or biotechnology
Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience
2-3 years experience in anesthesia, critical care, medical devices, or surgical products
Operating theatre environment exposure and hospital procurement process knowledge preferred
Consultative selling, strategic account management, and sales forecasting capabilities
Strong analytical thinking, customer focus, and results orientation
