Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Financial Analyst I to support financial planning and analysis for a business unit in Mumbai. The role involves monthly and quarterly closing activities, expense management, forecasting, and business partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage business unit operating expenses during monthly pre-close and closing periods
• Reconcile headcount and prepare commission and incentive program reports monthly
• Maintain margin dashboards and provide timely financial analysis for business decisions
• Prepare quarter-end revenue recognition reviews and support quarterly reporting deliverables
• Support business reviews with financial context and analysis

Requirements

• CA or CMA with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in FP&A
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and PLN financial systems
• SAP experience preferred
• Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Experience in operating expense management and financial close processes
