Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Facility Manager to manage end-to-end housekeeping operations across hospital, academic, hostel and campus facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection control and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Manage housekeeping operations, manpower, rosters, SOPs, checklists, equipment and consumables.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, infection control and biomedical waste segregation compliance.
Conduct audits and inspections and drive corrective actions.
Monitor KPIs and support NABH/other accreditation requirements.
Lead and manage supervisors, housekeeping staff and outsourced vendor teams.
Train teams on cleaning techniques, infection control, chemical safety and PPE.
Manage housekeeping vendors, SLAs, statutory compliance and billing validation.
Coordinate with hospital administration, departments and hostel teams to resolve complaints.
Prepare and submit regular MIS reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Facility Management or related field.
Diploma/PG Diploma in Facility Management is an advantage.
5–8 years of experience in housekeeping/facility management.
2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Hospital or institutional campus experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping, infection control and biomedical waste handling.
Familiarity with NABH/NAAC standards and audit processes.
Good leadership, planning and conflict-resolution skills.
MS Office and basic MIS reporting knowledge.
Fluency in English and Kannada; Hindi/Tulu/Konkani is an added advantage.
