Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Area Manager with strong experience in Acute Therapy and Anti-Infective products. The candidate will be responsible for managing the assigned territory, handling a team of 5 members and achieving sales and business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
Manage and guide a team of 5 team members.
Set team targets and monitor individual performance.
Conduct regular field visits and joint working with team members.
Train and motivate the team to achieve business objectives.
Ensure proper implementation of sales strategies.
Sales and Business Development
Achieve assigned sales and business targets.
Manage a VOB of approximately Rs. 30 Lakhs.
Develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
Increase product penetration and market share.
Monitor sales performance and take necessary corrective actions.
Territory Management
Manage the territory covering Western Mumbai from Mira Road to Andheri.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, distributors and stockists.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Ensure effective coverage of the assigned territory.
Product and Therapy Management
Promote Acute Therapy and Anti-Infective products.
Ensure effective product detailing to doctors and healthcare professionals.
Implement company marketing and sales strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Candidate Profile
Graduate or equivalent qualification.
3–4 years of experience as an Area Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
Acute Therapy / Anti-Infective experience is mandatory.
Experience with reputed pharmaceutical companies preferred.
Experience in handling a team of around 5 members.
Strong sales and business development experience.
Good knowledge of the Western Mumbai market.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Target-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Mandatory Requirements

Team handling experience
VOB handling experience of around Rs. 30 Lakhs
Western Mumbai market exposure preferred
Good communication skills
