Area Manager - Cardiac Surgery in Ernakulam, भारत

Medtronic seeks an Area Manager for Cardiac Surgery to drive commercial growth and clinical adoption of cardiac products across Kerala and Mangalore. The role combines remote work with 50% field-based travel, requiring engagement with surgeons, hospital stakeholders, and procurement teams to expand market presence and support product utilization.

Responsibilities

• Execute account plans and identify expansion opportunities for cardiac surgery therapies across assigned territory
• Build relationships with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, OR staff, and hospital procurement stakeholders
• Deliver product education, technical support, and clinical expertise for cardiac surgery technologies
• Provide procedural support during surgical cases and ensure customer satisfaction
• Conduct product training and in-service programs for existing and new customers

Requirements

• High school diploma with 8+ years experience, or associate's degree with 6+ years, or bachelor's degree with 4+ years
• Experience in cardiac surgery, cardiovascular, or related medical device therapies
• Demonstrated ability to build clinical and commercial relationships with healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of hospital purchasing processes and account development strategies
• Experience supporting live surgical procedures and working with operating room teams (preferred)
• Degree or certification in perfusion technology (preferred)
• Master's degree in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, or MBA (preferred)
