Key responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss project goals, budgets, styles, and timelines.
2. Design & Planning: Create initial sketches, 3D models, and detailed technical blueprints using software like AutoCAD or Revit.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs follow local building codes, zoning laws, fire safety rules, and accessibility standards.
4. Project Management: Prepare cost estimates, bid on projects, write contracts for builders, and handle permit applications.
5. Site Supervision: Visit construction sites regularly to check that work matches the plans and meets quality standards.
