We’re hiring an Application Support Engineer to provide day-to-day support and maintenance for critical business applications. This role works closely with call center, development, L3 teams, and vendors to ensure application availability, stability, and performance.
Key responsibilities
Investigate issues using logs, DB queries, API traces, and system metrics
Provide workarounds and identify bugs for escalation
Perform minor data fixes and configuration updates
Troubleshoot integrations and APIs
Escalate complex issues to L3/vendors with clear documentation
Monitor applications, handle alerts, and perform basic RCAs
Support testing and deployment of patches/minor releases
Requirements
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years in application support or similar IT role
Working knowledge of ITIL or ITSM practices
Hands-on with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python/PowerShell)
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
