Application Support Engineer in Rāniganj, भारत

We’re hiring an Application Support Engineer to provide day-to-day support and maintenance for critical business applications. This role works closely with call center, development, L3 teams, and vendors to ensure application availability, stability, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate issues using logs, DB queries, API traces, and system metrics
  
• Provide workarounds and identify bugs for escalation
  
• Perform minor data fixes and configuration updates
  
• Troubleshoot integrations and APIs
  
• Escalate complex issues to L3/vendors with clear documentation
  
• Monitor applications, handle alerts, and perform basic RCAs
  
• Support testing and deployment of patches/minor releases
  

Requirements

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  
• 4+ years in application support or similar IT role
  
• Working knowledge of ITIL or ITSM practices
  
• Hands-on with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python/PowerShell)
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

• Experience with monitoring tools and basic release support
