The team is part of Millennium's Information Technology organization, which is core to the health and growth of the firm. It builds, manages, and maintains applications and fundamental data that support Portfolio Management groups in managing risk and PnL. The team develops and supports next-generation in-house risk and analytics tools across risk, analytics, trading, portfolio visualization, and market data.
Monitor and automate application, infrastructure, and cloud alerts, responding quickly to production issues.
Maintain the stability, performance, and uptime of tools and applications owned by the team.
Perform application and infrastructure monitoring, health checks, troubleshooting, and user support.
Provide L2/L3 production support and take ownership of the production environment for key business applications.
Identify improvement opportunities, assess business risk accurately, and help prioritize remediation efforts.
Support releases and meetings outside standard working hours, including weekend and shift coverage when required.
Experience partnering directly with portfolio managers and traders.
At least 5 years of professional experience with Python, Unix/Linux shell scripting, and SQL.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Maven, and AWS, is preferred.
Experience supporting enterprise risk applications in a production environment is preferred.
Interest in public cloud and serverless architecture is beneficial.
