Edwards Lifesciences seeks an Angular Principal Developer to lead frontend development for its new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The role involves architecting scalable web applications, mentoring junior developers, and advancing digital capabilities including AI and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on Angular development following modern UI/UX best practices and design strategies
• Provide architecture recommendations for medium to large-scale initiatives and mentor development teams
• Define and enforce code quality standards, perform code reviews, and manage source control
• Diagnose and resolve performance and functional issues with technical documentation and diagrams
• Lead Angular framework upgrades and coordinate adoption of AI tools across the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field with 8+ years IT experience
• 8+ years developing responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications
• Expert Angular 17+ with Reactive Forms, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS
• Advanced SQLite database architecture and offline application development experience
• CI/CD expertise with Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and automated testing frameworks
• Hybrid mobile development experience using Ionic Capacitor, Electron, Apache Cordova
• Enterprise Angular best practices, monorepo architecture, and OOP design patterns
