AstraZeneca seeks an analyst to deliver commercial analytics for pharmaceutical brands in Chennai. The role involves building predictive models, customer segmentation strategies, and data-driven insights that guide brand strategy, resource allocation, and market engagement across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Develop rigorous analytics to support brand strategy decisions and resource allocation
Build and implement HCP and patient segmentation models to identify high-value opportunities
Design and operationalize predictive models using syndicated and primary data sources
Lead test-and-learn experiments and market simulations to inform go-to-market strategies
Translate technical analyses into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related); advanced degree preferred
3+ years applying advanced statistical methods to large, complex datasets
3+ years proficiency with PySpark, Python, R, and SQL
Expertise in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or equivalent)
Working knowledge of DataBricks platform and IQVIA datasets
Strong statistical analysis and modelling background; machine learning experience a plus
