SG Technologies develops software products and intelligent technology solutions. The company is offering a practical learning opportunity for freshers who want to build AI applications, computer vision systems, and AI-enabled business software.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and improve AI and machine learning solutions using Python and relevant frameworks.
Build and integrate AI services and REST APIs with existing software applications.
Evaluate model performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize accuracy, reliability, and execution speed.
Research suitable technologies, develop prototypes, and document technical implementations.
Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements, complete assigned tasks, and communicate technical findings clearly.
Requirements
Candidates must bring their own laptop for development and assigned tasks. SG TECHNOLOGIES will not provide a laptop.
Freshers with a foundation in Python, machine learning, and computer vision.
Basic knowledge of OpenCV and familiarity with at least one AI/ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Willingness to learn object detection models, including YOLO, along with basic APIs, Git, and software development practices.
A completed AI, machine learning, computer vision, or Python project is preferred.
Exposure to pretrained model execution, FastAPI, NumPy, Linux, GPU inference, or a GitHub portfolio is an advantage.
Applicants from CSE, IT, AI/ML, Data Science, related branches, or other backgrounds with demonstrable AI programming skills are welcome.
The three-month internship includes a one-month probation period. The internship is unpaid, and any stipend or compensation decision after evaluation will be communicated based on performance and the terms applicable before joining.
Selection may include resume and project screening, a fundamentals interview, a practical AI coding assessment, and a technical discussion. Interns will be evaluated on code quality, learning, model evaluation, task completion, debugging, documentation, and teamwork. High-performing interns may be considered separately for a full-time AI Engineer opportunity based on demonstrated ability and business requirements.
