Definian Data LLC and its subsidiary PIE Data Specialists Pvt Ltd have the need for an Accounts Payable Associate on the Finance team.
In this role, you will report to the Accounting Manager (US) and work closely with the Senior Staff Accountant (India) as a crucial role to provide accurate and timely financial processing. The Accounts Payable Associate is expected to maintain internal controls and support for financial transactions.

Hybrid, based in Mumbai.
Partial overlap with US normal business hours.

Invoice approvals, entry, and coding for multiple entities in financial system
Vendor statement reconciliations
Review support for corporate credit cards to ensure compliance to policies
Review weekly expense reimbursements to ensure compliance to policies
Expense report entry and coding in financial system
Daily application of bank activities to financial system
Assist with monthly financial close by providing support as requested
Assist with financial, insurance, tax and other audits and engagements
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or business

• 1–2 years of relevant accounts payable experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS compliance and filing requirements
• Familiarity with financial systems (Intacct and Tally preferred) and MS Office applications
• Excellent written/verbal English communication skills
• A self-starter mentality with ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize independent judgment
