About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Handle accounting and documentation related to imports, including invoices, customs paperwork and vendor reconciliations.
2. Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within due dates.
Compute, deduct and deposit TDS and ensure timely filing of TDS returns.
3. Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, ledgers and bank reconciliations.
Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
4. Coordinate with auditors, consultants and government departments for compliance and assessments.
5. Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial data as required.

3. Have working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.

1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting.

2. Strong understanding of GST and TDS provisions and filing procedures.

3. Good communication and coordination skills.
