About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain books of accounts for clients in Tally/Zoho Books, including data entry, vouchers and bank reconciliation.
2. Prepare monthly GST workings and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, with basic reconciliation of GSTR-2B against books.
3. Support TDS calculation, payment and return filing.
4. Assist in preparing trial balances, schedules and working papers for audit and finalisation.
5. Help with income tax computation and return filing under supervision.
6. Collect documents and follow up with clients for pending information.
7. Keep files and records properly organised, both physical and digital.

Other requirements

1. BCom/MCom, CA Inter, CMA Inter or CA articleship experience is a plus.

2. Minimum 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a CA firm.

3. Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

4. Basic understanding of GST, TDS and income tax.

5. Good written and spoken English, plus Kannada or Hindi.

6. Attention to detail, punctuality and willingness to learn.
