About the job

Key Responsibilities:

A. Accounts & finance:
1. Accounting (Tally): Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation, pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP, and handle day-to-day accounting activities
2. Accounts payable (Vendor payments): Process vendor invoices after verification, maintain vendor ledgers and payment schedules, coordinate with vendors for invoices, statements, and reconciliations, prepare payment advice and payment trackers, and ensure timely vendor payments as per the approval matrix
3. Accounts receivable (Customer collections): Generate invoices and share them with clients/customers, track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments, maintain customer aging reports, and coordinate with internal teams regarding collections
4. Banking & reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, maintain banking records and payment confirmations, coordinate online banking transactions and documentation, and track cash flow and daily fund positions when required
5. Payroll support: Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the HR or payroll team, maintain employee reimbursement and salary records, verify attendance, leave, and salary-related data, and prepare payroll-related MIS and reports
6. MIS & reporting: Prepare periodic MIS reports for management, maintain trackers for expenses, payments, compliance, and payroll, support management in compiling and reporting financial data, and assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring

B. Statutory compliance:
1. Compliance management: Coordinate and ensure timely compliance with TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, professional tax, and labour law-related documentation
2. Statutory records: Maintain statutory records and challans
3. Return filing: Coordinate with consultants or the CA for return filings
4. Compliance Tracking: Maintain compliance calendars and trackers
5. Audit support: Support audits and assessments
6. Documentation: Ensure timely collection and submission of compliance-related documents

C. Administration:
1. Vendor & office administration: Coordinate with office vendors and service providers, maintain office utility and service records, handle office procurement and stationery management, and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
2. Coordination & support: Coordinate with HR, operations, and finance teams, support management with administrative tasks, and arrange logistics, courier services, travel bookings, or meeting coordination as required

3. Timely vendor payments and reconciliations
4. Proper maintenance of financial and admin records
5. Timely MIS reporting
