We are looking for an Accountant Manager (CA) who can take ownership of the company’s accounting and financial operations while managing the accounting function effectively.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, taxation, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and overall financial control. The person will also work closely with management and internal teams to provide accurate financial insights and support business decisions.
What does an ideal candidate look like?

• Candidates with CA Inter/CA IPCC qualification will be preferred.
• Strong experience in accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books .
• Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance .
• Experience in finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience managing or mentoring an accounting team.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.
• Good command of MS Excel/Google Sheets and other MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and external consultants.
• Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of accounting operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Management
• Take complete ownership of day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Oversee accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Review and finalise books of accounts using Tally/Zoho .
• Ensure proper maintenance of ledgers, journals, invoices, expenses, and other accounting records.
• Conduct regular bank and ledger reconciliations .
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review and manage invoicing and payment processes.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

GST & Tax Compliance

• Manage the complete GST compliance process , including data collection, preparation, reconciliation, and filing.
• Handle GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation , and other applicable GST compliances.
• Support annual GST compliance, including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C .
• Manage TDS deduction, deposit, returns, corrections, and reconciliations .
• Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants and consultants for tax and statutory matters.

MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare and review MIS reports for senior management.
• Provide regular reports on revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, cash flow, and other financial metrics.
• Analyse financial data and highlight discrepancies, risks, and areas requiring management attention.
• Support management in making data-driven financial decisions.

Team Management

• Manage, guide, and supervise the accounting team.
• Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
• Review the team's work for accuracy and compliance.
• Train and mentor team members on accounting processes and best practices.
• Establish and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate and provide support for statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and other financial audits .
• Ensure proper documentation and availability of financial records for audits.
• Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting processes.

Payroll & Other Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate accounting of salary-related expenses.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs, deductions, reimbursements, and other employee-related financial matters.
• Handle vendor and client financial queries.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, banks, consultants, and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Perform other finance and accounting responsibilities as required by management.
