Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for assigned clients, including ledger
scrutiny, bank reconciliation, receivables, payables and other accounting activities.
2. Finalisation of accounts including preparation/review of financial statements,
schedules, reconciliations and supporting workings for audit and tax purposes.
3. Review and supervise the work of Junior Accountants / Accounts Executives,
ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely completion of assignments.
4. Independently handle assigned clients, including obtaining required information,
resolving routine accounting queries and ensuring timely completion of accounting
assignments.
5. Communicate directly with clients through calls and emails for accounting-related
matters, clarifications, document requirements and follow-ups.
6. Identify accounting discrepancies, reconciliation issues and other matters requiring
attention, and resolve routine issues or escalate complex matters to the Senior /
Partner.
7. Assist the Senior/Partner in audit support, MIS and other accounting-related
assignments and ensure proper maintenance of working papers and client records.
